A Word From The Pastor

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Friendsville. We are pleased that you have chosen to worship with us, and we trust that you will be pleased by both the spirit of the service and the warmth of the people. 

It is our desire to exalt Jesus Christ and to meet your needs through Bible-inspired preaching, teaching, music and Christ-centered fellowship. The membership and I invite you to consider becoming a member of First Baptist Church. The guidelines listed below explain how you can unite with our church.

How to become a member of FBCF

By Profession of Faith and Baptisim: If you will recieve Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in believer's baptisim by immersion, we welcome you into our fellowship.

By Letter: As a Baptist whose church membership is elsewhere, should God lead you here, we will be happy to welcome you into our church family. We will gladly take care of the details for transferring your membership.

By Statement: If you have recieved jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and have been scripturally baptized by immersion, we will accept your request for membership by your statement of faith. 

You are invited to respond in any one of the above manners by coming forward during the invatation given at the close of each worship service. Of course, any decision assumes your commitment to be faithful in prayer and participation in our Lord's work at First Baptist Church of Friendsville.
