Hi Folks!
Well, Governor Lee finally came out today with some guidelines for churches in regard to having in-person services again. This week many pastors and church leaders have been up in the air, really uncertain about what to do. I know that some churches are having services tomorrow, some have decided to delay having services until later in the month, and others are not planning to have services until the first of June. These are difficult decisions and each person, each family, and each church has to decide for themselves.
With all of that said, in consultation with our church staff and with Willard Price as the chairman of our Deacons, we are going to begin having worship services again at 10:15 a.m. on May 10. I will send out the guidelines that we will go by sometime next week, but in the meantime let me ask you to do two things.
1. Please work on securing a mask for yourself and for each of your family members that plan to come on May 10. Also, if you have extras and want to bring those along, that would be great. We will have available some cheaper ones, and will distribute as needed.
2. To help us better plan for our services, and to gradually open up the other ministries that we normally have, would you please go to our website and take the survey. We really want to hear from you and get your input as we make decisions about moving forward.
So, as the old saying goes, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we just need to pray that it is not a train coming! Right? Well, we do seriously pray for the Lord to give us that right balance of faith and common sense. Let’s trust Him for that together.
Take care. God bless. Love you folks. See you May 10, Lord willing.
In Him,
Pastor Bill
