Through singing, activities, games, and storytelling, children at FBCF get to know Jesus and what it means to follow Him. They will hear, know, and apply the truth of God’s Word through the consistent and intentional teaching of Biblical truth for the purpose of effecting the relationships they form and the way they grow in Jesus Christ.
“Train up a child on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not depart from it.”
– Proverbs 22:6
Classes for all ages – Infants, 5th grade
Our children’s Small-Groups (Sunday School) meet every Sunday at 9am with the purpose of teaching Biblical truths through Bible stories, activities, crafts, & fun.
Each month, these groups focus on a Biblical virtue that God wants us to have in our lives. The Bible lessons, along with the virtues they teach, are further reinforced in KidscKlub.

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, based on 2 Timothy 2:15 (Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.) With an unwavering commitment to the Gospel, AWANA is being used to reach over 4 million kids every week in 120 countries, giving children from every background an opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus for a lifetime. With interactive learning and fun activities, kids simply love being a part of this great ministry.
During the summer months, when AWANA is not meeting, kids will have a great time on Wednesday nights with lessons, games and activities in what is called SHINE. This comes from Matthew 5:16 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Kids are encouraged to walk with Jesus and better understand how to SHINE for Him.
